Cheelcare is on a Mission to radically improve quality-of-life and independence for people with physical disabilities by creating innovative and beautiful assistive devices, featuring harmoniously integrated accessories that prove their value in everyday life.
Our team of talented inventors, engineers, and designers located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, is committed to our Vision of a more inclusive world, transformed for the better.
Cheelcare began in 2015 when its two founders, Eugene Cherny and Dima Paltsev, discovered the great need for innovation in an industry largely unchanged since the 1930s.
Having both witnessed family members struggle with inadequate equipment that failed to meet modern needs, they quickly realized that most devices lacked features to support a user’s dignity, independence, and personality. They were motivated to find a solution and help others facing these same challenges.
The two assembled a team of inventors, engineers, and designers and set out on a journey to create better assistive devices using advanced robotics, technology, and design that were centered around users’ needs.
